Safety Policy

Marine City Drywall is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, subcontractors, and others affected by our work. Safety is a shared responsibility, and every individual working on behalf of Marine City Drywall is expected to follow all applicable federal, state, and local safety requirements, including applicable OSHA regulations and project-specific safety rules.

All employees are expected to perform their work in a safe, professional, and responsible manner. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, respiratory protection when required, and appropriate work footwear, must be worn as necessary for the task and jobsite conditions. Employees are responsible for inspecting and properly using all tools, equipment, ladders, scaffolding, and other work materials. Damaged or unsafe equipment must be removed from service and reported immediately.

Marine City Drywall is committed to identifying and controlling workplace hazards before work begins and throughout each project. Employees are expected to maintain clean and orderly work areas, properly handle and store materials, follow safe lifting and material-handling practices, and use appropriate precautions when working at heights or around construction equipment, electrical systems, dust, noise, and other potential hazards. Fall protection and other required safety measures must be used whenever applicable.

All employees have the responsibility and authority to report unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, injuries, property damage, near misses, or other safety concerns to their supervisor or company management. Employees are encouraged to stop work when an immediate and serious safety hazard exists and should never be asked or expected to knowingly perform work in an unsafe manner.

Safety training and communication will be provided as appropriate for job duties, equipment, hazards, and project requirements. Employees are expected to participate in required safety meetings, training, orientations, and toolbox talks and to follow all applicable site-specific safety procedures.

The use of alcohol, illegal drugs, or any substance that could impair an individual’s ability to work safely is strictly prohibited while working or representing Marine City Drywall. Workplace violence, horseplay, harassment, and other conduct that could endanger employees or others are also prohibited.
